The Batman is a dark, thrilling and violent experience. Robert Pattinson was outstanding as Batman, showing the rage, sheer intellect and the principles of the character, even in his early years. You can tell people are afraid of him. No disrespect to Christian Bale, or the TDK trilogy, but I was never intimidated by his iteration of the character, as great as those films were. Here, everything is about the dark mystique of Batman. The story is really captivating as well, and Reeves did great to heavily incorporate the detective element of the character in the film. Personally, it’s my favorite Batman film.
