There's no big meta plot to follow, there's no great human mystery being solved here. It's a movie about big, titanic creatures fighting it out while their human onlookers do their best to try and stay, as out of the way as they can. The movie is a+ Kaiju stuff and sufficable characters keep the tracks moving toward the bigger guys who, are of course, the real stars of the show here.
In this entry we're introduced to new places, new faces, with some returning old ones while leaving the family drama behind. Kong x Godzilla understands what it's audience wants most and that's to fall in love with these monsters through body language and various incomprehensible roars.
If you don't "get it" don't expect to, and after Minus One you still don't get it, than maybe this genre of junk food movies isint for you. For thoes of us who love a good monster fight, this movie will have you eating well.
