Jeff was away from family and friends for such a long time and kept the damning secrets. If you think you're being hurt and need to tell someone who listens to call for help. Don't waste precious time to decide who is telling you what happened (Jeff Hart for instance) scared to death to tell his family what was going on. This is one of my favorite books.
