As a lifelong fan of the sims franchise, I can safely say this game is extremely saddening. It's pretty, sure, and build mode is great, but thats about it. The gameplay is shallow and repetitive, sims lack any individuality , and they've completely abandoned emotions and whims. No memory, no attraction, nothing for any sim that isn't a young adult to do, personality traits don't actually alter how a sim acts, and no lore. Expansion packs cost 40 dollars and rarely add enough to the actual gameplay to justify it. If you like building, this might be enjoyable, but otherwise don't waste your money.
