In an era of CGI and comic-book movies, with special effects replacing human speech, it's a wonder when you have a film like this, with its super-intelligent, rapid-fire dialog. The only film comparable would be The Thing, from 1950. Watching this film is like taking a roller-coaster ride: one thrill after another. Thank God someone had the courage, nearly 60 years ago, to put this thing together. A true masterpiece! Too bad the lovely Janet Munro's life was cut short.
