Much like nomansky, Battlefront has survived a horrible launch to become a fantasy of many a star wars nerd and a semi-competent shooter. It still has it's bugs, but being a stormtrooper actually hitting shots makes up for it

Hyper Light Drifter is a hard video game. But that's a portion of the draw. The visuals are my favorite in any game and the soundtrack fits the dystopian theme of the game. The dash mechanic seems hard to parse at first, but that's the point. The tightness of the controls makes every encounter feel good, even if you end up dying, and even on a keyboard and mouse, it feels accessible.

This game tries to be something it's not. It's Naughty Dogs bad take on god of war 4. While god of war rewrote the franchise while taking into account what was problematic about the first games, and making a genuinely interesting story with characters that feel like real people. The Last of Us tries at this, and falls flat. The main character feels punished for killing senselessly and the story evolves around that feeling of pain but the gameplay involves you killing a considerable amount of people. The gameplay is fine, and it doesn't roll with the story at all. Naughty Dog does nothing to consider the mistakes that they've made throughout their history.
