Movie is no different than any other home invasion slasher movie. Firstly, it takes place in a secluded house in the woods… never seen that before🙄. The main characters (mom and two daughters) make bad decisions and are just plain dumb in my opinion. Then towards the end after the mom laid bleeding with an axe in her stomach for most of the night in the trunk of a car, she not only manages to miraculously lure out the killer just before he kills her daughters, but she then proceeds to fight and kill her would be killer. The killer is a full sized grown man strong enough to move another grown man’s dead body onto a roof, but he loses a fight to and is seemingly killed by an average size white woman in her 30’s?!?? But guess what happens next?? The killer who had an axe in his spine and multiple cuts and stabs to his legs, magically disappeared while ever one’s head was turned. Movie was just dumb and unoriginal in my opinion. If you’ve seen any slasher movie from the last 20 years, this is the same, just more annoying. And you can’t even ignore the unoriginality of it because the writing is just bad in all honesty. You can’t feel the suspense because you can predict everything that’s going to happen. It’s just bad.
