It’s as discouraging as the doubts the devil puts into me. If Jesus hated women as much as that pastor that just mentioned this book on Praise 106.5, then I’d kiss eternity god bye and treat everyone like trash. But I have the hope that Jesus is above most misogynistic men. That text about women having to be silent in church was in the context in that at that time, those women weren’t following God and were significantly disobeying God. There’s a lot of women who refuse to submit to men because now days, they’ve done a good job at proving to be untrustworthy. And I have to trust that God has a purpose for us women, because if He wants to treat us like 2nd best, then women aren’t welcome into heaven.
