If you believe Americans and American society are intrinsically bad then you will probably enjoy this show. Mr. Colbert’s humor seems to come from a genuine dislike for anything that is based in traditional American culture. Ratings for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert are poor in the Midwest and the South. Historically conservative regions of the country with traditional American values and opinions. But he does well in the East and West coasts markets where his politics are more in synch with those viewers (Mr. Colbert leans hard Left as his non-stop bashing of President Trump demonstrates). For those of you who long for politically neutral comedians, and entertainment in general, stay away (far away) from this show.
