I loved how this book moved along but the ending left me puzzled. First, Marco wasn’t held accountable for his actions. Second, and most importantly, the ending did not make sense. OK, Anne had a mental disorder and that is something people struggle with. But, she kills Crystal and they were the only two in the house. So who called the police? If it was Anne how is she sitting in her living room? Wouldn’t the authorities be scouring the neighborhood? Weird. I thought it was going to be a huge surprise at the end and it really wasn’t.
