Andrew Robert Burgess

I’ve been a fan of The Sandman franchise of comics since I was a young teen, and it is an absolute delight to see those characters I so loved make it onto the screen. The settings are lavish, the casting is excellent, which all breathes new life into the story, which doesn’t miss a beat, especially with Neil Gaiman, the original creator of the comics, at the helm. There are those who might grumble and stamp their feet about the depictions of the characters not being carbon copies of the comics, but I feel that this says more about their small mindedness and lack of ability to let a story grow and become more brilliant. I utterly loved it, I will be recommending it to everyone I know, and I simply cannot wait to see where it goes next.
