When I say this book is for everyone, I mean it. I first read this book on high school and every year like clockwork I grab it from my bookshelf to read it again. Every time I flip through the pages there is something different that I needed to read that at the time is relevant to my life. This is a story of a boy on a journey, a journey that although seems difficult is outshined by his determination. With spiritual guides and words of wisdom from strangers he makes is to his treasure, only to realize the treasure was right where he started. It is such a wonderful book for those looking for a bit of guidance, a happy ending and an overall abundance of philosophy. Everything I have read by Paulo Coelho has changed my life and brought a new outlook on the simple things in this world.
