I have watched the 1st & 2nd episodes of Grotesquerie and was favorably impressed with the story line and the great ensemble cast especially the leads, Nash & Diamond and Nicholas Alexander Chavez as the young priest. While there is of course mayhem in this series not unlike so many other horror stories and thrillers, there are some interesting twists including homo eroticism. Who doesn’t like seeing an attractive young priest wearing black leather chaps bareass and whipping himself? 😊

I very much enjoyed this Netflix series! The series was tightly directed, edited, excellent story, fantastic lighting & cinematography, excellent casting/great ensemble cast and well thought out ending that left no loose ends but nonetheless sad or was it hopeful? While the series was in the German language, kudos to the actors and director for being faithful to the story with the English dubbing. Let’s not forget that each two episodes was like shooting a major motion picture. I’m certain this was not an easy project to produce and film but the painstaking efforts made by all involved were very much appreciated! This is a much see series! I look forward to seeing other projects by this director, writer and leading cast. 😘
