The movie is good, but not that good for my opinion. There was a lot of actions and stuffs, there are also some references to Sonic X like the part that Knuckles couldn't hit Sonic and the part where Sonic couldn't swim back up. There were times the jokes were kind of unfunny. When I went to the movie theater only few people were there. I was expecting the tickets to be sold out but there were a lot of empty seats. After watching the move I now know why. The movie was a bit rushed, the final battle was bad in my opinion. It was like a typical and generic fight where the heroes fight a giant robot, when the heroes are about to lose a mircacle happens, that miracle was the key to destroying the giant robot. It's common to see when the movie makes you think that the villains will win and at the last second the heroes suddenly wins. In summary, the last fight was pretty boring and predictable. I know shooting took some time because of the pandemic, but the last part was just awful. I bet you've already seen many movies where team work makes the "dream work." Those type of movies are pretty repetative and you've probably seen countless of those movies too. If you're gonna watch this movie then it's up to you, there are good parts and there are bad parts. If you're a normal fan of Sonic or heard of Sonic then I suggest you pass this one because the target choice of this movie is for kids and the experience of watching this movie is quite fast. For die hards then it's your choice to watch this or not. If you're asking for my opinion then don't watch it. I didn't like and enjoy this movie.
