This book is an amazing gift to the world. I am white, and I really, really hope a lot of white folks read it. Because it will give you some true insight into what it is like to be a black person in America today. If you are white, and you don't have time to read the whole book, read the chapter called "Black Life and the Dead Deer." And try to put yourself in the place of this family, and think about how you would feel if these things happened to you and your family. We need more books like this!
