They should of left it with meg 1. Those that like this movie probably didn't watch meg 1 recently before watching meg 2. I watched meg 1 to refresh my memory of the movie and meg 2 right after. Doesn't work with these movies. Meg 1 is interesting, heartfelt, intelligent. Meg 2 might as well of been the transporter movies and a Jackie Chan rush hour movies mixed together. Meg 2 started out actually pretty decent except for the fact that the lady friend Jason Statham made in meg 1 is not in meg 2 for some reason but her daughter is there and she's 14 now. I got past that and the underwater space suits were cool. Than it's like a new director took over and absolutely fumbled the storyline and it's hard to finish. They tried to do too much comedy. It's very mind numbing if you ask me. Still a okay watch but if you are wanting a genuine storyline. Stick to meg 1 cuz they dropped the ball on intelligence in meg 2. Don't make a meg 3. The horse is dead now.
