I loved this adaptation of Persuasion. The reviews of this movie are awful so I’m not sure how this reflects on me. I found the dialogue witty and humorous. I enjoy characters that speak to the audience. It works for this film and no surprise one of my favorite Jane Austin movies is Mansfield Park. If you like this movie watch Mansfield Park made in 1999.
