But what a PITY...that those who spoke gave the usual false impression the Pentecostalism began in USA and came to England in the 1950's! SO please check your New Covenant Writings ( what you call The New Testament? ) and read the end of Luke's Gospel and The Acts of the Apostle TO DISCOVER that the 1st congregation that Jesus established in Jerusalem was Pentecostal! Which set the pattern for all the other congregations of the 1st century A. D. because Jesus requires all who call themselves Christian need to be... 1. born again by The Holy Spirit ...having repented of their sins...as adults! 2. Be baptised in water by full immersion! 3. Ask Jesus to Baptize them with The Holy Spirit with the result that they can speak in ' other tongues ' !
