Spoiler alerts in this review. Pattinson is very decent Batman / Bruce wayne. Dano plays the Riddler like a sex case who is way too interested in the saw franchise. His videos which he used to deliver his message, remind you far too much of Nolans Joker. So much so that i actually commented to my friend that it feels like the jokers in the next room waiting to be introduced. Which turned out to be a fairly accurate description. Its overly long and not as original as it likes to pretend. I actually liked Pattinson as Batman. There are some other good performances, but not enough to make this stand out like batman begins did. Decent, nothing special. Can i just add, that if they try to make the next movie any "darker and grittier" you'll just end up sitting in a pitch black cinema hall, getting sand poured into your eyes.
