Like everyone else - lovely, well written, gentle, engaging and hugely satisfying. We are ridiculously spoiled with the quality of walk-on talent - generally a joy of comfort watching - a guilty pleasure. Series 2 please.

A beautiful gem .. remains in the mind long after the viewing. Others phrase it better than me but it’s not one thing like script, acting, direction - just the whole lot together in a simple understated predictable story and yet it’s emotional and powerful long after it’s over without any outstanding reason to be so. A special thing
