Having read and listened to many articles about and interviews with Wershe Jr, I found this film disappointing . It skipped a lot of a very interesting and unbelievable story. There’s a really good podcast on Spotify called “white boy rick” which tells the story through news reports and interviews with Rick . Also there is a documentary called White Boy Rick on Amazon Prime Video. If you want to know Rick’s story, was recommend either of these rather than the movie. Afterthought:The city you see in this picture is NOT Detroit. The east side is way more hit than this. Skyline is not Detroit either.
