We just watched this movie and it was amazing! The "acting" doesn't feel like acting. It really feels as if you're watching the movement in real time. We went to Asbury a few weeks ago and what I was watching on the screen felt familiar-it was young people unashamedly hungry for a relationship with God-just as at Asbury. God uses flawed humans. Humans that come from challenged homes and challenged pasts. I loved how the movie showed Pastor Greg's dysfunctional upbringing and rebellious teens because one can see his ministry today and know that God uses anyone willing-perfection isn't a requirement. Definitely a film worth taking the time to see, especially in the wake of the spiritual awakening happening with our current Gen-Z youth.
