I have been a fan of Vic and Bob for many years. In my eyes Bob is like Tommy Cooper, he can be sitting perfectly still and have me crying with laughter. I lost touch with their act when I emigrated to the USA but in 2019 I had a Quadruple bypass and after 4 days was sent home to recuperate and what was on the tv ? Gone Fishing. I hate fishing with a passion but ended up addicted to the show and it was a boon to my recovery. The book is everything a Bob fan could wish for, I wish he had left the WILTY stories out having already seen them. He must have hundreds of other stories to relate that are just as funny. The book just confirms to me that with Bob what you see is what you get. The sort of guy you could have a pint with down the local.
