Capitani had some interesting plot lines, but the "mystery" was achieved through dead end threads and the contrivance that everyone was lying (which they were). Because everyone was a liar or worse, it was difficult to find any of the characters particularly likeable. Elsa, a young police officer, was the only person who would be worth getting to know. Luc Shiltz who played Capitani was particularly wooden in those places where he was showing strong emotion. I watched it to the end in hopes that it would eventually make some sense, and yet even the ending was sadly lacking believable substance. Clever twists and turns, but once you got where it was going, it felt like why did I bother. If there is a Season 2, I will know better than to get started on it.
