I haven't played any the games or am much of a fan of em, but I started watching the show because some of the Characters interested me and I have watched Forward Unto Dawn and so I thought I'd get my free trial of Paramount+ and check it out and honestly I enjoy what I see so far. The scenes with the Covenant and the Blessed one are some of my favorite because it just sounds so damn good and it's overall very intriguing. Alot of the 1 Star reviews are quite salty, though I suppose being a fan of the games and getting a show that's different from the source material I can understand why (however I have no idea how much it differs from said source material as I don't play the games) but the games will always be there and the show is not bad at all imo. I love sci-fi and action and so far episode 1 has plenty of both, so I recommend this and with a paramount+ free trial you lose nothing by giving it a chance.
