Fantastic storytelling at its best and is great as a stand-alone movie or can function as a origin story to the Animated Series. This movie deserves more credit than it has already garnered and should never be forgotten. No future reimagining of Batman will ever out do the Animated Series version. It is perfect in its noir 1940's style.
