I don’t understand how anyone gave this movie a high rating. First let me list the things that were good: it was better than It Comes At Night. Now the bad: Casting, acting, plot, script, and of course the atrocious camera work. Just not good. I despise the lazy way every awkward conversation winds up coming back as a plot point in the movie. I’ve left better script on toilet paper in the bathroom at Chipotle after using a buy one get one free coupon. My phone can write better script by me simply choosing random words from the suggestion bar…”get the chicken out and boil it on the back porch if you want to come back to me” Do better Hollywood, do better.
