I am actually suprised by the comments....I started this series after book tok and honestly no regrets....
Ik,other people have opinions and all but yes the first book was definitely lacking something...the way they portrayed character relationships were lackluster. I also accept that Feyre was not ready to fight Amarantha. And I too didn't like Nesta's behavior all throughout the series.
I heard from a lot of people that all
"Good" characters had the same personality/vibe, I don't think so tho..The whole story goes through the dark struggle of the characters throughout years of mental, physical and sexual abuse....I admit that one thing all characters did after trauma was not eat and isolate. But it's not wrong....Feyre does have her own set of curse words and stuff, but I don't understand what's that wrong in that...I think it had amazing world building , but could have had better character description.
Also powerful main characters sitting back while there was war had a lot of different reasons, I think people need to pay attention while reading.
Feyre was not selfish nor rude she had justified reasons to do so.
The book had flaws as much as it had amazing writings, it was wonderful but could have been better....and the explicit scenes are a bit vague but if u don't enjoy smut then i recommend u to avoid reading .
Overall, SJM is an amazing writer but can improve somethings...
