A remake that was objectively bad. Everything that made the original good was promptly discarded and replaced with uninspired Hollywood drivel. The setting made no sense, the plot was stale, the script was amateur, and the acting was some of the worst I've seen in a big budget film. I can't believe anyone watched this and liked it.
