**spoilers**
Talk about losing a Dou Dou! Nobody asked for this. Take a 60 year franchise and add a handful of unremarkable characters that add no value at all. The “new” 007 was a whiner and bland. Drove around all movie with sunglasses on that don’t fit. Malek was unintelligible and mostly unexplained. Money Penny was the sad secretary instead of the go-getter like before. What happened to James Bond being about James Bond? Without adding too many spoilers my opinion would be that James should remain male. There’s plenty of screenwriting that could be done to make a female led and successful spy franchise (black widow was a good one). This movie didn’t hold the intimacy and depth of Royale or Skyfall. I couldnt understand a word Malek said and I found him to be a pointless villain. Blowfeld was all we needed. Not sure who asked for the ending we got but it was a slap in the face to anyone with any real care for the characters. (Everyone but the production team). Loud, gimmicky, with moments of shine and some hint of nostalgia, albeit lost in a plot filled with ridiculousness and no respect for The characters. Also, Nanotech? Yawn!
If I could, I’d call up Barbara and ask her “why?”
At least they brought back the porcelain dog.
No wonder Craig wanted out. Oof!
