Turning Red was fine. My almost 11 year old seemed embarrassed and cried out "cringe" on numerous occasions. I wouldn't use that word for the boy scenes. I didn't necessarily appreciate the characters' personalities but the overall plot was relatable to the setting of 2002 (flip phones, boy bands and begging parents to go to concerts).
