Pretty actors (Mike Faist looking much better here than he did in West Side Story) and some good acting can't save this muddled mess with a trite climactic tennis match & an ending that makes no sense.
Zendaya /Tashi is a manipulative and selfish character who plays two guys off of each other and cheats on both of them with each other & is apparently unhappy even though she has coached her husband to be a Grand Slam winning champion. The jumping back & forth in time is ok but annoying. The music beats you over the head relentlessly & unpleasantly, there is no subtlety in the direction, especially in the climactic tennis match where every thing is telegraphed incredibly LOUDLY you can't miss the supposed emotion the characters are supposed to feel. Feels & seems like a film from an indie film festival with a 3rd time director.
Good for Gen Z maybe. Water of time for others
