They picked up a story that could have gone down in history as one of the best movies in Bollywood and successfully Ruined it completely. Story- 5 🌟 Story presentation- 1 🌟 Direction- minus 1 🌟 Editing- minus 100 🌟 Acting- 3.5 🌟 (average of all major actors) Within first 10-15 mins you get to know that it is a painful movie, when the revelation of SCID scene plays, and then the whole movie you just try and try to connect and feel the pain, I mean really to just feel the pain and cry, but you won't, because the movie just jumps.Flashbacks and flashforwards are just used to introduce unnecessary humour in this movie, and this takes away the time that could have been used to show the real struggles of the family , that really could have made us connect and feel the pain. The whole movie you just sit there in theatre knowing it is a painful movie, you try to feel the pain, but you can't. The movie doesn't engage you in the story, it just shows glimpses of part of a great struggle story, but even those small parts are out of what the movie want to convey;They introduce humour at the most awkward moments. I always like heart touching struggle movies, but they didn't work well on their presentation. Of course you get to know the story (and it's amazing), but also you know that how much better it could have been done.
