The five parts are supposed to be: "Act One: Exposition and inciting incident. Act Two: First major turning point and progressive complications. Act Three: Rising action and climax. Act Four: Falling action. Act Five: Resolution" This movie has an Act One and Act Two repeated four times from different locations of the same phone call. Then it just ends. Trying to be different by telling a story that doesn't tell a story isn't actually being different, it is being a failure. This movie could have been good, if it had opened and restarted with a retelling including character building and then had a climax, action, and resolution. Instead I was left confused at why it kept restarting with essentially no new information, and cursing at it when the credits suddenly rolled. Don't waste your time.

Two stars because it was somewhat entertaining, however, the unrealistic world that has been built is so distracting that it is hard to keep from laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. For example, a child walks by a leopard assumedly from the zoo, and it doesn't attack him and eat him, he TALKS TO IT. This is not how earth works. Whoever wrote this doesn't seem to have the first clue what it would take to maintain a civilization of hundreds of thousands of people, and instead wanted to fantasize about a world ruled by varous gangs of minorities. By the end the point is revealed in a woketopian speech about equal access to Healthcare. What? They have one clinic with a handful of workers that would in no way possible service hundreds thousands of people. Power? Trash? Sewage? Food? Fuel? Burials? This is an area cut off from the rest of the nation, allegedly, in a city that would have had starving masses, but the soda machine somehow still has soda? There's booze, a radio station, graffiti, tattoos, guns and ammo, clean clothes, new cars, gas, bandages, copy machines, and fresh bread. For some reason cash is king, THE USD is still useful, despite the "community" being anti-USA. This show is a microcosm of the Leftist ideology, where minorities are marginalized by the big bad powers that be (read: America), and will be completely equal and problem-free if they can just "come together," freed from anyone who maintained the civilization they existed in, and -and then what? Stop being who they were five minutes ago? These people would realistically all be dead and any survivors would be cannibals.

If you can't stand behind the main character, you have quite literally lost the plot. This started out so intriguing. I was really rooting for the time resetting team and their newest member. They could have had a show that continued for 20 years of seasons, but the writers seem to not understand what formula actually makes that happen. Altruism. This main character turning into the bad guy creates a void where the motivation to watch should reside. I can't care about an ap developer and his relationship with his live-in teacher girlfriend more than I care about planet earth and all its inhabitants, and there is no amount of storytelling skill that brings me to a point where I empathize with the fact that he does. It's an irredeemable motive that makes the main character disposable. Dispose of him in the nearest prison or simply dispose of him entirely and who cares? See why this doesn't work? Nevermind that the holes in the mechanics of this tale are wide enough to fit a black hole through.

Two stars. One for each lead. They weren't bad. This is a "theater kid" movie made by theater kids, for theater kids. It was fine to fast forward all the songs. Popular and Defying Gravity were nearly cohesive. I would have preferred to see the actual book turned into a real film. That would have appealed to a very wide audience, while this is for the very small part of the population who likes musicals and the slightly larger part of the population who creates musicals.

There is a murder about every 30 seconds for 6 hours. Girl boss can kill all the men, while they all have guns, they just became super slow I guess. Injuries that would kill literally everyone back then with infection are kept fresh and bloody for days with zero attempt to clean anything or they magically disappear by the next scene. Horses apparently never need care. No one needs to eat, ever, they only need to butcher animals, in slow mo. No one bathes, but that's okay because all these filthy people are murdered anyways. All whites were evil except a murderer woman with a bounty on her head, her kid, and a white guy raised by Indians, all of whom murder their way out West. Indians lecture on the white people's need to kill. Mormons were apparently all mass murderers also. I get that Hollywood needs to make exciting content to keep our sociopathic generations entertained, but these content creators should at least know what it means to go outside.

This movie is filth. I do not recommend. It's central theme seems to be feces. At one point or another there are discussions of having baby penis inside her, pooping on babies, sending pictures of poop to each other, and many other examples of how garbage humans think. Too many movie makers are into this disgusting poop and pedophilia jokes. It's not funny. This is not entertainment, it's abuse of the audience.

They didn't make the politics of this movie clear for the simple reason that Liberal ideology, when shown for what it truly is, is tyrannical and murderous.
