Arthur was one of my favorite TV shows when I was young. Sadly, the show has declined since season 16. The animation is poor, the plots are bland, and the quality has dwindled. I know that I'll have some bad reaction from this, but I don't think PBS should've shown the episode "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone." When I first heard about it, I thought that Mr. Ratburn would be marrying a woman. It's a shame that PBS has shown a homosexual wedding in a kids' show. Perhaps because of that, the next season didn't feature Mr. Ratburn as a major character. I believe homosexuality is scientifically wrong because two egg cells or two sperm cells cannot unite to begin the process of conception. However, that doesn't mean that I hate the LGBT community. I feel sorry for them. Aside from this blemish, I recommend watching seasons 1-15 of Arthur. There were some great episodes there. The writing was fantastic, the humor was very witty, and the lessons were great. I have a feeling that Arthur will be ending very soon, perhaps after its 25th season, whenever that will air.
