I’ve read this trilogy dozens of times because it makes me feel so much. I’ve been waiting so long to watch the TV adaptation & overall I give it an 8 out of 10. Some of the screen play fits the book very well, but there are a lot of deviations that are a bit confusing. I really like Matthew & Diana & I do believe they have a chemistry & are doing the characters justice. A few of the other cast members don’t fit my vision of the characters. I’m not saying they are bad actors, they are just not the image I had in my head. I feared the tv adaptation would diminish the value of the book trilogy like they did with Cassandra Clare‘s series, but I look forward to season 2.
