This movie felt like a parody at the start and then halfway through turned into a basic Marvel movie with a predictable ending. The humor wasn't funny enough to get more than a smirk from me, and the story wasn't interesting enough to keep me invested. It was like two mediocre movies had a baby that was uglier than the parents.

I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I expected. Sure, the characters made questionable choices and the vfx weren't very good (it was made in 2007, so that's expected), but this film had a lot of twists and turns that surprised me. It kept me invested the whole time. If you like sci-fi monster and apocalypse type movies, you'll enjoy this.
