Sweet and compelling. I loved these lead actors together, and I loved the various plot twists and turns... Couldn't stop smiling through a good part of the movie, but emotional also. Worth watching for sure!

It was wonderful. The storylines, the eye candy of the province near Seoul, Korea where it was filmed, the intrigue, the suspense, the child actors and the adult actors- compelling. I cannot remember being so taken with an historical fictiion drama series in a very long time, and haven't seen anything quite like this. I want to watch it all over again! Really loved it!

Read the book a year or two ago now. The movie was so very close to the book- the slight changes that were made did not make a difference to the storyline which was true to the gist of the book...the scenery was...breathtaking. The acting was...superb. The music...soaring. As a moviegoer, I felt wrung out emotionally- many bright moments and many brutal moments. A very emotional experience.
