My wife and I just binge watched the first three episodes. Spell binding story. If life then was anything like this story portrays, I cannot see why anyone would voluntarily wish to go into that hell. If you listen closely to the monologue overlays by daughter Elsa Dutton, you have to agree with. Elsa, played by Isabel May, is amazing. McGraw does a decent job. I am not impressed with Faith Hills performance. Sam Elliott is great as always. I also like the performance of LaMonica Garrett as Thomas. The young cowboys are good too, and the immigrant Josef played by Marc Rissman. Definitely recommend this show.
