this movie is a perfect combination between the musical and the 2004 movie. Most of the comments are talking about how awful it is to hear a song every two seconds, but it is a musical, what the hell are you expecting. People are also complaining about the slurs, we are in 2024 and most of them are really offensive, the original movie was made in 2004 thats why it was more acceptable than now. And you cannot deny that Reneé has an AMAZING voice, so saying that the soundtrack made your ears hurt is beacause you are not able to hear. Yes it may be a little different than the brodway sound, but it is wonderful either way.
