This is one of the worst things I have ever seen. I previously thought that nothing could beat The Christmas Tree as the worst holiday special, but this takes the cake. The acting is bad, the visuals are bleak, the characters are either boring or just plain unlikable, the story makes no sense, and the film itself goes out of its way to destroy any sense of fun, charm, or good will with its mean-spirited, hideous, downright horrendousness. The only reason you should ever watch it is if you wish to see what Dante's Inferno would be like as a Christmas special, and that's the farthest thing from being a good thing as physically possible.

One of the worst things I have ever seen on television. Literally everything about this special sucks. The story is boring, the animation is extremely static, the characters look terrifying, and the voice acting is horrendous. If you want to absolutely hate everything Christmas-related, by all means watch this.

This deserves no stars, but I can't do that. I've never hated a main character so much in anything I've ever seen. I'm fine with deliberately making an unlikable protagonist (like Greg Heffley), but you have to be very careful with how you do it. Jonathan Taylor Thomas's character is completely insufferable, yet we're supposed to be rooting for him. The rest of the movie is just boring, with awful jokes, and it drags on seemingly forever. It's honestly one of the worst holiday movies I've ever seen, which is saying a hell of a lot.
