Weird movie to say the least. Trigger warning for fellow arachnophobes. Why did it have to be spiders? Besides that, the whole movie felt it was lacking some kind of purpose or feeling. I just expected more from him. Maybe some humor? Some kind of indication of a personality, perhaps? We just kept waiting for the moment the movie would pick up and get good and it just didnt..? Compared to other Sci fi movies about venturing deep into our solar system, it was lackluster and boring. Yeah there was character development, but the movie ends once we finally get a glimpse of a happy ending for him. And the happy ending seems ruined to me because he still has to travel months to even get that happy ending, which we do not get to see.
