I watched the OG series on VHS. I watched the 2000s reboot eagerly as a kid. I've watched this series with great appreciation and fondness. I get the "woke" complaints and etcetera, but all I have for those cantankerous fans is a simple "Bleh". The show is great, both in story and in design. Kevin Smith and associates did great work, paid honest respect to the source material and harnessed great talent to produce fine content. The best part, they produced it to tell a story, not just sell toys.

I'm sure this series and the one before it are getting plenty of hate by die hard fans of the OG series, and probably the fans of the 2000s reboot, but I thought Revelation and Revolution were awesome. I know it's too modern for some and it changes too much for some and it takes importance off some characters and blah etcetera. I know the die hard fans don't like Kevin Smith's adaption and that sucks, because they are good. Especially since these are produced to tell a story where the OG were made to sell toys. I do hate that fans can't just enjoy media without bias for older versions simply for nostalgia reasons.

It's a great movie. It tells an awesome story that I totally see Andy from Toy Story getting hooked by to ask for the action figure Buzz Lightyear. All those who complain of it being woke or whatever: Go Away. Good story. Good character development. Nice twists and even a possibility of a second one. Ending payed homage to Buzz as he would appear as a toy. My daughter and I liked it. Side note: I want my own Sox.

Your Name is a masterful piece of cinema with fantastically detailed art style and seamless animation. The characters and story were exquisitely crafted so that by the end of it I was shouting at the TV for them to turn around and see each other! Perfect pacing with just the right amount of draw to keep you interested until it finally hit it's high point. And the high point didn't stop until the movie ended. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this movie. FANTASTIC!!
