Its not amazing. But it surely isn't bad. Just good. A lot of the reviews here are slating it and I can tell you why, BBC highlighted social issues. They did it tastefully also, made it make sense to the time period. If any of you had any knowledge of the original war of the worlds, it's a very political story that links to british colonisation. Politics is key to the story. So, in that sense its very fitting. My only issue is the storytelling, at times it can be slow and the start of the first episode was slightly confusing ( in regards to the relationship between our two main characters ). The CGI isnt awful either, considering budget. Not amazing, but not terrible.
