Absolutely stunning film, you can pause at any point and use it as a wallpaper; the animation team have truly outdone themselves once again. You could always see their abilities in the main show, but what they were able to do with a higher budget and fewer limits is nothing short of phenomenal. The story is relatively simple, but contains surprisingly dark themes that caught me off guard a few times, even for an avid TMNT fan who has seen all previous iterations. I cannot recommend this movie enough, whether you've seen the Rise series before or not you can follow along and appreciate this fresh and exciting take on the turtles. I can only hope that it may lead to continuation of the main series that was forced to end sooner than planned.
