I think they did a good job building up the circumstances around the days leading up to and the days after the murders. I had a sense that it could’ve been longer and that there were details that were important that may not have been presented. They spent a lot of time on Chris Watts’ disturbing behavior but didn’t really focus on any issues the couple was really having. At any rate, it left me feeling rather hopeless that a family man could do that to his wife and beautiful children. He seemed so NORMAL, But I remember when this happened and I saw the interview on the news where he asked them to come home and I honestly had a flashback and remember thinking to myself at that time, boy, that guy really doesn’t look worried. Shouldn’t he be hysterical or something? He had a weird mouth and it looked like he was smirking to me. Very eerie. The documentary also shows many many many pictures and videos of the beautiful children and it just breaks your heart in two.
