While this book is billed as a thriller, it certainly is (there are some nasty villains here); it's so much more. After this guy believes his wife has been murdered, he goes on a hunt to find her killer with his giant dog, a Great Dane. This is as much a love story as it is a mystery or thriller. And because this guy is someone you can identify with, like your neighbor or your friend or your uncle, the story is that much more satisfying. I highly recommend it.
