It's a decent movie which I don't think I'll watch again. I would go watch the English remake with James in it, only if they add something different to it.
There are a few plotholes, and the movie could have explored more of the Dutch couple and their dynamic. Or how it is clear that more people are involved in this. I also understand that all of that was not revealed to us on purpose, as such I did not have as much of a problem with the ending. It's just that all that madness was shown to us without any obvious motive.
I would just like to know one thing:
Was this movie foreboding/foreshadowing darker times ahead for people-pleasers? Were they focusing on boundary setting? Cause the victims did have many chances to stop them, to just not go along with it.
