It’s as if the creators of Pocahontas 2 didn’t even know what happened in the first movie. There is no peace between the Native Americans and the pale faces, no trust or respect. None of the progress in their relationship from the first film is shown. Pocahontas and John Smith both act completely out of character. It doesn’t make sense and is disappointing to watch.
