Great premise! Who wouldn’t like to know the future at 18, as told by your old ass (you, 21 years later)? Someone who’s been through it all, who tries very hard to steer you away from future pain by changing your present? As an old-ass boomer, what would 39-year-old me tell 18-year-old me? I would have tried to steer me clear of some painful stuff, too! [* SPOILER ALERT*] I laughed at how old-ass Elliot finds a way to continue her conversations with 18-year-old Elliott ☺️, and her growing wisdom to let the future play out even though she knows young Elliott will be devastated by it. A lovely, funny movie! Would recommend as a perfect rom-com for a snowy afternoon!
